At CANADA GOLDEN FOOD INC., we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish efficient work schedules to meet customer demands
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring high-quality service and food presentation
- Train staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, promoting a safe and healthy work environment
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and optimizing inventory
- Hire and manage food service staff, fostering a positive and productive team culture
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, stock, and other key performance indicators
- Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries and ensure seamless kitchen operations
- 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff
- Knowledge of culinary genres and menu planning
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities
- Fluency in English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varied shifts
