Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shipper/Receiver/Clamp Truck Operator to join our team at Atlantic Packaging in Scarborough, Ontario. As a key member of our warehouse operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient movement of goods within our facility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a forklift in a safe and efficient manner, completing daily safety checks and adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Receive and inspect incoming shipments, verifying quantities and accuracy.
  • Load and unload trailers, ensuring all units are properly secured and accounted for.
  • Locate and retrieve orders from the warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Participate in quality control initiatives, identifying and addressing any non-conformances.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve operational goals and objectives.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including ISO and HACCP protocols.

Requirements

  • Previous forklift experience and a valid forklift license.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Regular attendance and a commitment to safety and quality.
