Backend Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Engineer to join our dynamic team at Recruitment Room. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing backend services that power innovative fintech applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop robust, scalable backend services with a strong focus on data pipelines, API development, and infrastructure.
  • Implement and optimize databases and storage solutions to ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Build and maintain ETL processes and data workflows to ensure data integrity, performance, and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of backend services with frontend applications and third-party systems.
  • Participate in architectural decisions and play a key role in continuously improving the backend infrastructure and systems.
  • Implement and advocate for backend best practices, especially in code quality, performance optimization, and security.
  • Proactively explore new technologies and approaches to enhance the performance, scalability, and security of backend systems.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining production-level backend systems with a strong focus on data pipelines, SQL, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Extensive experience in backend development, particularly with server-side languages such as Go, Python, or Java.
  • Strong expertise in database design, implementation, and optimization, particularly with relational databases and data handling.
  • Familiarity with cloud services and infrastructure management (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) with hands-on experience in deploying and scaling backend services.
  • Proven ability to solve complex backend challenges independently, with a focus on building reliable and scalable systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Keen interest in fintech, with a strong desire to work on crypto or other financial products.
