Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Development Specialist to join our team at SEA STAR EDUCATION LTD. As an Infant Care Professional, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing environment that supports the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of infants and toddlers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Bathing, Diapering, and Feeding: Provide exceptional care to infants and toddlers, ensuring their basic needs are met.
  • Program Development: Design and implement engaging child-care programs that promote learning and development.
  • Activity Leadership: Lead activities that stimulate cognitive, emotional, and social growth, such as storytelling, singing, and outings.
  • Record Keeping: Assist in maintaining accurate records of children's progress and development.
  • Health and Safety: Establish and maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous experience in early childhood education is an asset.
  • Certifications: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate and First Aid Certificate.
Work Environment
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30-40 hours per week.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
