At Redpath Sugar Ltd, we're seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a General Labourer 1. As a key member of our manufacturing operation, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the smooth production of our sugar products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare materials and weigh ingredients for product blending with precision and accuracy.
  • Operate mixing equipment and ensure timely completion of processing steps and quality requirements.
  • Collaborate with the packaging line team to operate packing, labeling, and palletizing equipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment through sanitation and good housekeeping activities.
  • Document and verify tasks, ensuring adherence to Good Manufacturing, Quality, and Safety Policies.

Requirements:

  • A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required, along with the ability to use hand tools, digital scales, and enter weights into a computer.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment or food production is an asset.
