Engineering Director

Cowan International is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our client's engineering teams in various projects and studies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage engineering teams to deliver projects and studies on time and within budget.
- Recruit and develop engineering staff to meet client needs and demands.
- Improve existing engineering systems and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure all deliverables meet best practice engineering standards.
- Foster strong relationships with clients to secure future partnerships.
Requirements:
- Degree in civil or mechanical engineering.
- Relevant experience in multi-discipline minerals processing plants, particularly in gold, base metals, and industrial minerals.
- Proven engineering management experience.
- Ability to lead design teams in a multi-discipline engineering environment.
- International project management experience is an asset.
- Track record of coaching and mentoring employees to improve procedures.
- Experience working on large capital projects.
- Business development mindset to grow the company and engage new clients.
