Job Title: Senior Bridge Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Bridge Engineer to join our team at WSP Global Inc. in Burlington, Canada.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work on the design and delivery of transportation projects, including bridges, culverts, retaining walls, and unique structures. Our team has a highly qualified staff experienced in bridge planning, inspection, evaluation, rehabilitation, new design, and project administration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical leadership in the design and delivery of transportation projects
  • Work on bridge planning, inspection, evaluation, rehabilitation, new design, and project administration
  • Collaborate with internal and external clients and stakeholders to deliver projects
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with current design codes and standards
Requirements:
  • University degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with a specialization in bridge structures
  • Minimum 10 years of experience working in an engineering and project management capacity on detailed design assignments for bridges
  • Superior technical understanding, design abilities, and current knowledge of bridge technologies
  • Working knowledge of structural analysis software used in bridge design
  • Strong ability to communicate effectively with internal and external clients and stakeholders
