About the Role:

The Unit Aide will work within a team to provide a safe and clean environment for patients and their families in the Cardiology department. Key responsibilities include:

  • Placing orders through SAP
  • Maintaining supplies and equipment required for the unit
  • Transporting defective equipment to Biomedical Engineering
  • Ordering supplies through SAP

Requirements:

  • Previous Unit Aide experience preferred
  • Knowledge of IWK Health fire response regulations required
  • Flexibility to change hours of work based on unit needs required
