IT Systems and Automation Manager

Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and forward-thinking Manager of IT Systems and Automation to oversee the technological infrastructure and automation initiatives of our firm. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our internal systems, automating and streamlining processes, and leveraging technology to drive efficiency, support our operational needs, and improve client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain the firm's IT systems, networks, and infrastructure, ensuring their stability, security, and optimal performance.
- Implement and troubleshoot all third-party software used by the firm (e.g., QuickBooks, Plooto, Dext, Canopy, etc.).
- Develop and implement strategic plans to automate business processes, enhancing efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure the security, integrity, and confidentiality of data by establishing and enforcing appropriate IT policies and procedures.
- Perform system maintenance, updates, and troubleshooting as required to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their technological needs and design custom solutions.
- Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network issues, providing technical support to staff members when necessary.
- Train and mentor team members on the use of new systems and applications, fostering a tech-forward culture.
- Manage relationships with vendors and service providers, ensuring the cost-effective procurement and maintenance of all IT-related equipment and software.
- Stay abreast of new industry trends and technologies to drive innovation and maintain competitiveness.
Requirements:
- 5+ years' experience in IT systems management, preferably in a financial services or accounting firm.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master's degree would be an advantage.
