Job Summary:

The Production Operator will be responsible for running the production line, operating machinery, and ensuring that raw materials are fed properly through the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures
  • Inspect raw materials and finished products per quality specifications
  • Conduct quality checks at regular intervals
  • Operate manufacturing equipment in accordance with standard work instructions
  • Enter waste and downtime data into the system
  • Perform general housekeeping duties

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in industrial manufacturing or construction industry preferred
  • Comfortable with standing for extended periods of time
  • Manual dexterity
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to follow direction and specific instructions
  • Good communication skills; fluent in English - reading, writing, and speaking

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds on a routine basis
  • PPE including hard hat, safety footwear, safety glasses, hearing protection, and gloves must be worn at all times in the plant operations area

This is a full-time unionized permanent position.
