About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Financial Reporting Associate to join our team in Thunder Bay. As a key member of our Financial Reporting & Insights team, you will be responsible for preparing financial statements, tax returns, and other financial documents for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Financial Statement Preparation: Efficiently prepare financial statements for Notice to Reader and Review engagement.
  2. Tax Return Preparation: Prepare working files for income tax and information returns for a variety of client sizes.
  3. Corporate and Personal Tax Returns: Prepare corporate and/or personal tax returns including information returns.
  4. Client Relationship Building: Build positive working relationships with clients and effectively respond to requests and suggestions.
  5. Accounting Analysis: Completion of ongoing accounting analysis and assignments following established procedures.
  6. Communication: Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis.
Requirements
  1. Education: You have completed your undergraduate degree or diploma in accounting and the necessary pre-requisites.
  2. Skills: You have a desire to provide outstanding client service and a commitment to teamwork. You have proven leadership skills and can take initiative to seek understanding. You display strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
