Scaffolder Maintenance Specialist

At Jardeg-Construction, we are seeking a skilled Scaffolder Journeyperson to join our team for various project sites in the Province of Alberta.

This is an expression of interest for future opportunities within the Maintenance and Turnaround group, which may include fly-in/fly-out, drive-in/drive-out and local roles.

As a Scaffolder, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Designing scaffolds to site requirements, material specifications and CSA standards
  • Assembling, dismantling and modifying System (Layer/Ring Lock) and Tube & Clamp scaffolds
  • Practicing safe work habits in the industrial environment with knowledge of Task Hazard Assessments

Requirements:

  • Journeyperson Scaffolder certification or proof of Journeyperson level hours
  • Proven experience as a Journeyperson Scaffolder, preferably in a heavy industrial or construction setting
  • Comprehensive knowledge of materials, tools, and installation techniques used as a scaffolder
  • Strong commitment to safety practices and protocols
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work efficiently in a team environment and independently as required
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and project stakeholders

  • WHMIS
