About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Packaging Labourer to join our team at 1413504 Ontario Ltd. as a key member of our operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transport items throughout the plant using powered equipment, ensuring efficient and safe movement of materials.
  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant manually, adhering to established protocols.
  • Conduct regular checks and weigh materials and products to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products with attention to detail and precision.
  • Assist machine operators, assemblers, and other workers in maintaining a smooth production process.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
Work Environment

As a Packaging Labourer, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads, and standing for extended periods. You will also be required to combine sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.

Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work schedules.
  • Reliability and accuracy in performing tasks and maintaining records.
  • Excellent team player with strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day.
