About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Specialist to join our team at 100 Reasons Y. As an IT Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing technical support and assistance to our staff and members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Support: Provide timely and effective technical support to staff and members, resolving issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
  • Helpdesk Support: Manage and respond to helpdesk tickets, ensuring that all issues are resolved in a timely and professional manner.
  • System Administration: Configure and maintain computer systems, networks, and peripherals to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Network Security: Monitor and maintain network security, ensuring that all systems and data are protected from unauthorized access.
  • Software Management: Install, configure, and maintain software applications to ensure that they are up-to-date and functioning correctly.
  • Hardware Management: Manage and maintain hardware assets, including computers, printers, and other equipment.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and support to staff on the use of technology and software applications.
  • Problem-Solving: Analyze and resolve complex technical issues, often working independently to find solutions.
Requirements
  • Education: Post-secondary education in IT or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in IT support and technical services.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills, including knowledge of hardware, software, and network systems. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA A+ or Cisco CCNA.
