About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Railway Engineer to join our Critical Infrastructure team at Parsons Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality design solutions for our clients while adhering to technical requirements, schedule, and commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support a multidisciplinary team of engineers and architects to ensure the delivery of high-quality design solutions.
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in railway track design, including vertical and horizontal alignments.
  • Prepare 2D and 3D design calculations, drawings, and specifications.
  • Collaborate with team members, clients, and agencies to ensure effective project delivery.
  • Manage and lead meetings, produce meeting minutes, and assist in the preparation of technical reports.
Requirements
  • Bachelor or master's degree in civil engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in railway track design and construction.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Civil 3D.
  • Experience with commuter and heavy rail design.
  • Member of OIQ.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with DTM surfaces, grading, and drainage design.
  • Experience with railway industry standards such as AREMA, TCRP, MTQ, CP, CN.
  • Experience with working for engineering consultant companies within the rail and transit sector.
