Job Title: Food Counter Attendant

We are seeking a skilled Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Basha Donair & Shawarma. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Replenish condiments and supplies at tables and serving areas
  • Keep accurate records of food quantities used
  • Package take-out food and prepare it for delivery
  • Portion and wrap food items to meet customer specifications
  • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer requirements
  • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables with a smile
  • Stock refrigerators and salad bars to ensure a well-stocked and organized kitchen
  • Take customer orders and respond to their needs in a timely and professional manner
  • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs to meet customer specifications
  • Handle and store cleaning products safely and efficiently
  • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash to maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit to meet customer specifications
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Fast-paced environment with high energy levels
  • Handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods
  • Physically demanding tasks that require attention to detail and multitasking
  • Repetitive tasks that require focus and concentration
  • Standing for extended periods and working under pressure
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
