Faculty Position in Interventional Cardiology

University of Toronto invites applications for a faculty position in interventional cardiology at the rank of Lecturer or Assistant Professor. As a member of the Department of Medicine, you will contribute to our mission of advancing medical knowledge and improving patient care.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will hold an MD degree and be certified in Cardiology by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. We are seeking a skilled coronary interventionalist with experience in intra-vascular imaging and/or intra-coronary physiology. The ideal candidate will participate in educational programs in Cardiology at St. Michael's Hospital and the University of Toronto, and lead or collaborate in clinical research and quality improvement programs.
About the DivisionThe Division of Cardiology at St. Michael's Hospital is internationally recognized for their work in structural heart and chronic total occlusion/complex higher-risk indicated patients (CTO/CHIP) intervention. We perform over 3,000 diagnostic catheterizations and 1,500 percutaneous coronary interventions (PCIs) annually. Our team participates fully in the undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programs at the University of Toronto.

Estimated remuneration for this position ranges from $250,000 to $400,000 annually, depending on qualifications and experience.
