Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Production Welder to join our team at CB Canada. As a Production Welder, you will be responsible for producing high-quality parts, reviewing parts for quality specifications, and working in a safe manner to support production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production and Quality Control: Produce quality parts, review parts produced for quality specifications, and identify and report defective parts.
  • Safety and Compliance: Comply with all safety procedures as required by the Health & Safety Act and/or Company practices or procedures, including the wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as specified by the Act or designated by the Company.
  • Operational Efficiency: Work in a fast-paced environment with timelines and quota objectives, operate a Robot Weld Cell, and report any inventory problems.
  • Housekeeping and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including cleaning, sweeping, painting, and mopping.
  • Documentation and Communication: Complete all relevant and required documentation prior to shift ending and communicate effectively with the management team.
Requirements
  • Reliable Transportation: Must have access to reliable transportation.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to bend, stretch, and reach with varying shaped parts and varying weight, lift up to 23 kg (50lbs), and work in a fast-paced environment performing repetitive tasks.
  • Cognitive Abilities: Ability to retain information and communicate effectively.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Hourly Rate: $18.00/hour.
  • Shift Options: Full-time hours with multiple shift options, including afternoon and midnight shifts.
  • Overtime and Premiums: Time and a half after 40 hours, double time on Sundays, and lots of overtime available.
