Production Welder Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Production Welder to join our team in Tillsonburg and Otterville locations. As a Production Welder, you will be responsible for producing high-quality parts, reviewing them for quality specifications, and identifying defective parts. You will work in a safe manner, performing tasks that support production and comply with all safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce quality parts and review them for quality specifications
  • Identify and report defective parts
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with timelines and quota objectives
  • Operate Robot Weld Cell
  • Report inventory problems
  • Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning, sweeping, and painting
  • Complete all relevant documentation prior to shift ending
Requirements:
  • Must have access to reliable transportation
  • Ability to bend, stretch, and reach with varying shaped parts and varying weight
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50lbs)
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment performing repetitive tasks
  • Ability to retain information and communicate effectively
Compensation:
  • $18.00/hour
  • Full-time hours with multiple shift options
  • Shift premiums for afternoon and midnight shifts
  • Time and a half after 40 hours
  • Double time on Sundays
  • Lots of overtime available
