Britespan Building Systems Inc. is seeking a skilled MIG (Metal Inert Gas) welder to join our team. As a MIG welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpret welding process specifications and read blueprints, drawings, and manuals to ensure accurate fabrication and repair of metal parts and products.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Examine welds to ensure they meet standards and specifications.
  • Start up, shut down, adjust, and monitor robotic welding production lines.
Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods and handle heavy loads.

Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in MIG welding.
  • Ability to work in a noisy environment and handle heavy loads.
  • Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a team environment.
