We are seeking a Financial Performance Specialist based in Laval, Quebec, offering a hybrid work environment with 2 days remote work per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • The Financial Performance Specialist will work closely with the Senior Manager, Finance to manage several financial reporting areas, including:
    • Inventory management, including obsolescence, revaluation, and costing queries.
    • Revenue provisions analysis and support.
    • Preparation of monthly journal entries.
    • Balance sheet account reconciliations.
    • Support for SOX controls conformity.
  • The specialist will be a key resource for supporting various financial systems, tools, and processes, including:
    • Cash flow forecasting support.
    • Corporate requirements support on intercompany transactions.
  • The specialist will assist in identifying process improvements and provide recommendations to finance leadership.
  • Finance and FP&A support for ad-hoc requests and projects.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, administration, or a related field of study.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in accounting and financial analysis.
  • CPA designation (or in progress) required.
  • Bilingual (French and English).
  • Interest in financial systems and tools, including opportunities for automation.
  • Professional, self-motivator, autonomous, energetic, and inquisitive.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, and experience with ERP systems (SAP) is an asset.
  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a positive attitude.
