Retail Store Manager

CIRCLE K CONVENIENCE STORE is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our store, including supervising sales floor staff, managing inventory, and maintaining a high level of customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and Co-ordinate Activities of Workers: Lead and motivate a team of sales floor staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Ensure that sales floor staff are assigned to tasks that maximize sales and customer satisfaction.
- Authorize Payments and Returns: Process payments and returns in a timely and accurate manner.
- Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and minimize overtime.
- Prepare Reports: Analyze sales data and prepare reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Resolve Issues: Address customer complaints and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Organize and Maintain Inventory: Ensure that inventory is accurately counted and stored, and that stock levels are maintained at optimal levels.
- Mentorship Programs: Offer mentorship programs to support the development of employees from diverse backgrounds, including Indigenous workers, visible minorities, newcomers, and refugees.
- Coaching and Networking Opportunities: Provide coaching and networking opportunities to support the growth and development of employees.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or supervisory role.
- Language: English.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
