About the Role

AbCellera is a global biotechnology company that discovers and develops antibody-based medicines to help people live longer, happier, and more productive lives. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Associate Director, Development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical and scientific leadership for the development of antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) and other complex biologics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement process development plans, ensuring successful clinical manufacturing and regulatory submissions.
  • Review and analyze process data, process deviations, and product impact assessments to inform decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain technical reports, master batch records, and data packages for regulatory submissions.
Requirements
  • PhD in biotechnology, chemical engineering, or a related field with at least 10 years of industry experience working with ADCs.
  • Strong knowledge of structured methodologies for process design, scale-up/down models, process control strategies, process validation, and continuous process verification.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and relationship-building skills across the organization.
  • Ability to apply pragmatic, risk-based decision-making with a strategic, hands-on, detail-oriented approach.
What We Offer
  • Competitive salary range: CAD $141,600 - $177,000 annually, commensurate with education and job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
