At TNT Tools Inc., we are seeking a skilled Senior Machine Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with expertise in precision machinery operations and maintenance.

Job Summary

The Senior Machine Technician will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining various machine tools, including conventional and computer-controlled equipment. They will work closely with our production team to ensure efficient manufacturing processes and high-quality products.

About the Role

This position requires a strong understanding of mechanical principles, attention to detail, and excellent problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will have experience working with various types of machinery, including boring machines, cylindrical grinders, milling machines, planers, and sawing machines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate various machine tools, including CNC machines.
  • Maintain and repair machinery, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
  • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Collaborate with production staff to improve manufacturing processes and increase efficiency.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to minimize equipment failures.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of experience working with precision machinery, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Knowledge of mechanical principles and ability to read engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, as required.
