Senior Heavy Duty Technician Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Heavy Duty Technician to join our team in Osgoode, ON. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to take on a leadership role and contribute to the growth and success of our mechanical program.
Job OverviewThe Senior Heavy Duty Technician will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance to junior technicians, ensuring that all maintenance and repair work is performed to the highest standards. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy-duty mechanics, as well as excellent communication and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of technicians to ensure that all maintenance and repair work is completed efficiently and effectively.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior technicians.
- Mentor and train new employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
- Develop and implement procedures and processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with safety protocols and regulations.
- Certified Heavy-Duty Journeyperson/Journeyman (Red Seal).
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in heavy-duty mechanics, including front-end brakes, shocks, and wheel alignment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to lift 30-50 lbs as needed.
- An estimated salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
