Retail Sales Manager

Petro Canada is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing staff, and implementing marketing strategies to meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:- Staff Management: Manage and motivate a team of sales staff to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service.
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify trends, consumer demand, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies.
- Merchandise and Services: Determine the merchandise and services to be sold, including procurement and inventory management.
- Marketing Strategies: Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales growth and increase customer engagement.
- Financial Management: Plan and manage budgets, monitor revenues and expenses, and make data-driven decisions to optimize sales performance.
- Recruitment and Training: Recruit, hire, and train sales staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to meet sales targets.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or a related field.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Work Environment: Fast-paced retail environment with a focus on customer service.
- Physical Demands: Combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
- Personal Qualities: Goal-oriented, hardworking, positive attitude, efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and ability to multitask.
