**About REAL Recruitment Canada**

We are a boutique firm dedicated to providing exceptional legal services to our clients. As a Litigation Associate, you will play a key role in our team and be responsible for handling various aspects of commercial litigation, wills & estates, and family law.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist in the preparation and conduct of commercial litigation cases, including research, drafting, and advocacy.
  • Provide support in the areas of wills & estates, including estate planning, probate, and estate administration.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies for family law cases, including divorce, separation, and child custody.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a book of business, including identifying and pursuing new clients and cases.

**Requirements:**

  • 3 to 5 years' experience in litigation in Alberta.
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in commercial law.
  • A membership in good standing with the Law Society of Alberta.
  • A law degree from an accredited post-secondary institution.
  • The ability to bring a book of business with them.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Active in the community, participating on boards, and demonstrating trustworthiness.
  • Ability to speak a second language other than English.
