Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and hard-working Certified Dental Assistant to join our team at Williams Lake Smiles in Williams Lake, BC. The ideal candidate will be a team player who values playing their part for the team, providing outstanding treatment assistance, and preparing the treatment room and dental equipment/instruments for patient arrival.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist dentists and hygienists with patient care and treatment
  • Prepare treatment rooms and dental equipment/instruments for patient arrival
  • Provide outstanding treatment assistance and support to the dental team
  • Communicate effectively with patients and families
  • Participate in team-building activities and contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment

Requirements

  • Completion of a Certified/Registered Dental Assisting program
  • Registered or in process of registering with the BC College of Oral Health Professionals
  • New graduates welcome
  • Experience with dental practice management software such as Dentrix is considered an asset
  • Ortho module is an asset
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
  • Customer service mindset

Schedule

  • 32-40 hours per week
  • Monday - Friday (no evenings and no weekends)
