Urologist Opportunity in Brandon, Manitoba

Prairie Mountain Health is seeking a skilled Urologist to join our team in Brandon, Manitoba. As a Urologist, you will be responsible for examining, diagnosing, and treating urologic disorders, including surgical procedures, ordering diagnostic tests, and consulting with other physicians/healthcare providers as required.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility with a wide range of specialist services available onsite. Brandon Regional Health Centre has 309 beds, including 10 ICU beds, and offers diagnostic services such as radiology, ultrasound, CT, and MRI.

Applicants will be able to join one of the various clinics throughout the city, with a competitive overhead rate. There are also multiple teaching opportunities available for those interested. Brandon hosts a University of Manitoba satellite campus for clinical clerk positions and resident training through the CaRMS match.

Qualifications:

  • Medical Degree
  • Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba
  • Medico-legal insurance with the Canadian Medical Protective Association or another carrier
  • Criminal record check and Child and Adult abuse check prior to starting practice
  • Language of work: English

Remuneration:

Fee-for-service based on an agreement between Doctors Manitoba and Manitoba Healthy Living and Seniors (MHHLS). Anticipated fee-for-service annual compensation is $300,000.00 - $500,000.00, based on 40 hours a week (excluding on-call work). On-call stipends are paid separately per the Doctors Manitoba negotiated rates.
