CHAHAL BROS TRANSPORT is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer and transporting goods across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and Unload Goods: Safely load and unload goods from the tractor-trailer, ensuring accurate and efficient delivery.
  • Obtain Special Permits: Obtain necessary permits and documents to transport cargo on international routes.
  • Operate Tractor-Trailer: Safely operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods and materials, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Inspect Vehicle: Regularly inspect the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition, including tires, lights, brakes, and cold storage.
  • Record Cargo Information: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
Requirements
  • AZ Class License: Possess a valid AZ class license and Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent oral communication skills and ability to work effectively with central dispatch.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to sit for extended periods and lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: Previous experience as a truck driver is an asset.
  • International Experience: Experience with international routes and transportation is preferred.
