About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer 3 to join our team at Williams Engineering Canada. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise on various projects, working closely with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets, and to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Lead and participate in technical discussions with clients, stakeholders, and other team members to ensure that project requirements are met and that technical issues are resolved.
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in mechanical engineering, including HVAC, energy analysis, equipment selection and specification, fuel systems, high/low pressure piping, and plumbing.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Contribute to the development of company policies and procedures, ensuring that they are aligned with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • P.Eng. status with the appropriate provincial association.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a strong background in project management and technical leadership.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality results.
