We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Clerk to join our team at Manpower Services Canada Limit. As an Inventory Control Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of inventory, processing incoming requisitions, and ensuring the efficient flow of goods and materials.
Key Responsibilities- Inventory Management: Store items in a warehouse, tool room, or supply area, and maintain accurate records on the inventory control system.
- Requisition Processing: Process incoming requisitions, prepare requisition orders to replenish parts and supplies, and issue and distribute parts and supplies for internal use.
- Receiving and Shipping: Receive, unpack, and sort incoming parts, supplies, and materials, and ship, deliver, or pick up parts, products, or equipment as needed.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of inventory, requisitions, and shipments, and prepare and track work orders.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) are essential.
The successful candidate will work in an industrial facility or establishment, with a dusty and noisy work environment. The ability to distinguish between colors, attention to detail, and hand-eye coordination are essential for this role.
