About the Role

B.E.S.T. Recruiting Consultants Ltd. is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining a comprehensive health and safety program that ensures a safe working environment for all employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement health and safety policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety procedures and protocols.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of health and safety incidents, training, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with management and employees to promote a culture of health and safety within the organization.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in commercial and industrial construction, with a focus on health and safety.
  • National Construction Safety Officer Designation, Gold Seal, and/or CRSP certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, including the Occupational Health and Safety Act and the Regulations for Construction Projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
