LandSure Systems Ltd is a subsidiary of the Land Title and Survey Authority of BC, a publicly accountable, statutory corporation that manages BC's land title and survey systems. Our team of nearly 100 employees supports the LTSA through information system consulting services, project management, customer support, and communications.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to join our Technology division. As a Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing data solutions that enable strategic business goals and ensuring that all data solutions are aligned with business needs.
Key Responsibilities- Designing enterprise data architecture framework and developing robust data models and data architecture solutions that align with strategic business requirements.
- Converting business requirements to logical data models and information data flows, and working with stakeholders to define data requirements and translate them into the data architecture framework.
- Leading the design of migration to a modern data architecture, including data migration strategy and deliverables such as data migration plan, data mapping, and data validation.
- Collaborating with system and solution architects to align enterprise system and data architecture to realize business goals.
- Assessing and optimizing existing data models to improve performance, scalability, data integrity, security, accessibility, and interoperability.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 to 10 years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, or a similar role, preferably in a cloud-based environment.
- Extensive experience in data modeling, including conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling for enterprise systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to translate complex business requirements into effective data models and data architecture solutions.
