Job Title: Supervision Assistant - Noon Hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and patient Supervision Assistant to provide support during non-instructional time at Sangster Elementary School. The successful candidate will assist in maintaining a safe and organized school environment, ensuring students' well-being and supervision during lunch, snack, and clean-up routines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist administration in supervising students during non-instructional time
  • Provide first aid and care for students in the sick room
  • Support lunch, snack, and clean-up routines
  • Assist students with dressing and other needs as required
  • Perform related work as needed, such as bus loading and unloading

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 graduation or equivalent
  • Three months of experience and over
  • Patience and care for students, with a demonstrated aptitude for the work
  • Ability to follow school district policy and procedures
  • Valid Occupational First Aid - Level One Certificate

Working Conditions:

Hours may vary, but work is required only when students are at school. Ten-month term.

Compensation:

Hourly rate of pay is $28.56, as per the collective agreement.
