About the Role

The Carpenter provides skilled craftsmanship in carpentry to complete construction, inspect, maintain and repair campus facilities according to work orders and plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret plans and construction drawings and building code.
  • Perform journeyman level skills in carpentry to complete construction, inspect, maintain and repair campus facilities.
  • Valid BC driver's license (Class 5) required.
  • Basic computer skills required.
Qualifications

Red Seal Carpenter Certification and/or TQ (Trade Qualification) Certification and five years of related experience in areas such as building construction, joinery or maintenance, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
