About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at JCC Construction. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing structures and fixtures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials to create structures and fixtures.
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
  • Fabricate and install cabinets, countertops, and other wood products.
  • Work at heights, on scaffolding, or swing stages to complete tasks.
Work Environment

As a Carpenter, you will work in a fast-paced construction environment with varying weather conditions. You will be required to work at heights, in noisy and dusty conditions, and in outdoor settings.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
  • Equivalent experience may be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Physical stamina to perform manual labor.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures.
