Food Store Operations Manager

At THANIMA KERALA STORE, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Store Manager to lead our retail grocery store team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for directing and controlling daily operations, evaluating daily performance, and planning and organizing daily activities.
Key Responsibilities:- Direct and Control Daily Operations: Oversee the daily activities of the store, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Evaluate Daily Performance: Monitor and analyze daily sales, inventory, and customer satisfaction to identify areas for improvement.
- Plan and Organize Daily Activities: Develop and implement plans to achieve sales targets, manage inventory, and maintain a clean and safe store environment.
- Manage Staff and Assign Duties: Supervise and train a team of 5-10 employees, assigning tasks and responsibilities to ensure seamless store operations.
- Study Market Research and Trends: Analyze market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and the impact of competitors' operations on sales.
- Plan Budgets and Monitor Revenues and Expenses: Develop and manage budgets, monitoring revenues and expenses to ensure profitability.
- Supervise Office and Volunteer Staff: Oversee the work of office and volunteer staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a retail grocery store management role.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 35 to 37.5 hours per week.
This role involves duties and responsibilities that lead to positive environmental outcomes.
This is a temporary position.
