Job Title: Home Support Worker - Caregiver for Elderly and Disabled Individuals

Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Support Worker to provide care and assistance to elderly and disabled individuals in their homes. As a Home Support Worker, you will be responsible for administering personal care, assisting with daily living activities, and providing companionship.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer bedside and personal care
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk
  • Change non-sterile dressings
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Mend clothing and linens
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Provide companionship
  • Provide personal care
  • Shop for food and household supplies
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals

Requirements:

  • Certificate of Conduct
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability

Working Conditions:
