Key Responsibilities:- Prepare comprehensive cost estimates for labour, materials, and general expenses related to construction projects.
- Develop and maintain detailed project budgets, including forecasting and tracking costs throughout the project lifecycle.
- Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to gather project information and ensure accuracy in cost estimates.
- Analyze and interpret complex data sets, including blueprints, drawings, and specifications, to inform cost estimation decisions.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop and implement cost-saving strategies and identify areas for process improvement.
- Communicate cost estimates and project budget updates to senior management and clients, ensuring timely and transparent reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction estimating or a related field.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to work with complex data sets.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in construction software, including AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
- Competitive salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year.
