About the Role

We're seeking a Fullstack Software Engineer to lead the charge in architecting cutting-edge software integrations. As a key member of our engineering squad, you'll spearhead the enhancement of our integration engine while paving the way for future innovations.

This is a hybrid role with 2-3 days per week spent collaborating with the team in the office. We're open to applicants located in either the Greater Toronto Area or in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Actively engage in the full project lifecycle across the stack, with full ownership from conception to deployment and iteration.
  • Collaborate closely with backend engineers, product owners & designers to develop efficient, innovative solutions.
  • Conceptualize the design and development of interfaces and integration architecture.
  • Document technical interface requirements and convert specifications into technical designs.
Requirements

We're looking for someone with over 5 years of hands-on, relevant experience crafting applications and services. You should have extensive experience in integrating with third-party vendors while designing and implementing efficient and dependable integration frameworks.

You should be skilled in crafting RESTful APIs adhering to industry best practices and standards. A solid grasp of software development fundamentals, encompassing data structures, algorithms, design patterns, and familiarity with various protocols like SOAP, REST, and GraphQL, along with server-side languages like SQL, is required.

Able to communicate technical ideas or issues in easy-to-understand and actionable terms, you should also have a versatile skillset that includes React/Typescript and experience in AI, legal tech, and social impact projects.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is $140,000-$180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
