Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Fashion Retail Store Operations Manager to join our team at Well Groomed. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing and controlling daily store operations, evaluating their effectiveness, and implementing strategies to improve performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and control daily store operations to ensure efficient and effective execution of sales, customer service, and operational goals.
  • Evaluate daily operations to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as necessary.
  • Plan and organize daily operations to achieve business objectives.
  • Manage staff, including recruiting, hiring, supervising, and developing employees.
  • Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand and competitor activity, informing product selection and pricing decisions.
  • Determine merchandise and services to be sold, ensuring alignment with customer needs and business goals.
  • Implement price and credit policies to maximize sales and revenue.
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to drive sales and increase brand awareness.
  • Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses to ensure financial health and profitability.
  • Resolve issues that may arise, including customer complaints and supply shortages.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and electronic mail software.

Work Environment:

The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day. This role requires adaptability, efficiency, energy, hard work, integrity, time management, excellent oral communication, organization, teamwork, and patience.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
