Job Title: Sous Chef

ORCHARD RESTAURANT INC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of our menu items.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food production.
  • Estimate food costs, manage inventory, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement new menu items and specials.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Mediterranean cuisine and menu planning.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
