Financial Operations Lead

At the Bank of New York Mellon Corporation, we are seeking a skilled Financial Operations Lead to join our Client Processing team. This role is a crucial part of our operations, requiring strong leadership and technical expertise to oversee the day-to-day activities of a team.

About the Role

This position involves:

  • Serving as a lead for the day-to-day operations of a small- to medium-sized client processing support team, providing work direction and technical assistance on complex matters.
  • Identifying, investigating, and resolving escalated and/or complex problems in client accounts or company records.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for clients and assisting in communicating needs and issues internally with operating areas and externally with clients.
  • Participating in processing updates to client accounts and company records to ensure they are managed correctly and in a timely manner.
  • Working closely with technology and systems teams to ensure the system is efficient and incorporates any necessary risk mitigations.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, we are seeking:

  • A high school/secondary school or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
  • Years of total work experience preferred.
