About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Glass Installation Specialist to join our team at Exact Glass Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing glass products in commercial and residential settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine the required type of glass, frames, and materials for each installation project.
  • Measure, mark, and cut glass according to specifications.
  • Position and secure panes in frames, ensuring proper fit and safety.
  • Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products, adhering to manufacturer instructions.
  • Install door, window, and other hardware, guaranteeing smooth operation and durability.
  • Repair glass doors and other glass structures, restoring them to their original condition.
  • Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment, prioritizing safety and efficiency.
  • Transport cases of glass, maintaining a safe driving record.
Working Conditions and Physical Demands
  • The role is physically demanding, requiring prolonged standing, handling heavy loads, and performing tasks that involve bending, crouching, and kneeling.
  • Work Term: Permanent position with regular working hours.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary of $65,000 - 80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, to ensure that our employees can maintain a high quality of life and contribute to their well-being.
