Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Appointment Coordinator. This is a full-time opportunity to work with our Pediatric Health Services department, where you will play a critical role in coordinating appointments and ensuring seamless communication with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
What You'll Do:
- Schedule and coordinate appointments for pediatric patients, taking into account complex medical needs and scheduling constraints.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure accurate information exchange and smooth appointment processes.
- Manage and maintain accurate records, using computerized systems to track appointment schedules, patient demographics, and contact information.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to patient inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise during the appointment process.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to identify and address any barriers or challenges affecting appointment coordination, contributing to continuous improvement and quality enhancement.
Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, business administration) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in appointment coordination, healthcare administration, or a related field.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in computerized scheduling systems and software applications, including Microsoft Office.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
