Job Summary:

PAL Aerospace is seeking highly skilled Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and modify aircraft and related components in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare aircraft for maintenance, repair, and/or modification.
  • Assist with tug and towing procedures, aircraft defueling, and jacking up and down the aircraft.
  • Coordinate the troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of all aircraft and aircraft components, including heavy maintenance.
  • Coordinate parts and ensure sufficient tools and equipment are available to accomplish maintenance and inspection functions.
  • Perform other duties as assigned based on role specifications.

Requirements:

  • Transport Canada approved Aircraft Maintenance Course completed or equivalent experience.
  • Aircraft Maintenance License with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, the international language of aviation.
  • Experience in line maintenance or heavy maintenance operations is considered an asset.
  • Experience on Dash 8-100/200/300 and/or Dash 8-400 ATR-42 or ATR-72 aircraft is preferred.
  • The ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong interpersonal, decision-making, organization, and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements is considered an asset.
  • Flexibility to work all shifts and adapt to fluctuations in shift times due to operational and/or unforeseen situations.
