AME - AVIONICS, Full Time
**Description**:
- Maintenance & installation of avionics and electrical systems in accordance with applicable installation drawings and/or manufacturer’s maintenance and installation manuals.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, maintenance manuals, etc.
- Install, test, and verify operation of avionics systems and equipment with the purpose of successfully diagnosing failures on various airframes and types using hand tools, test equipment and technical documents.
- Ensure that all installations are completed according to SOP’s and in line with Canadian Aviation Regulations and/or FAA Regulations, as applicable.
- Resolve discrepancies in an efficient manner and work to maximize quality and meet deadlines.
- Assist with mechanical / electrical removals and installation.
- Record work on company build sheets or applicable forms.
- Tagging of removed parts as serviceable or unserviceable.
**Qualifications**:
- You have received training from an avionics/electrical Aircraft Technical School or other substantiated equivalent.
- You have a minimum of 3 years of avionics work experience.
- You have an A Certification, P Certification, or both (preferred).
- AME-E considered an asset.
- You are TCAA Approved Avionics or Accredited Avionics course.
- You have an understanding of Canadian Aviation Regulations and FAA Regulations.
- You demonstrate good judgement in conjunction with technical skills to make decisions regarding the order of work performed, technique and troubleshooting.
- You have an understanding of all technical documents such as technical bulletins, alert service bulletins, etc.
- You have the ability to read and understand electrical engineering drawings.
- You have hands-on electrical experience.
**Salary**: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
