Job Summary

Boeing Canada Winnipeg is seeking a skilled Professional Tool Inventory Coordinator to join our Materials Management and Transportation team. As a key member of our Fulfillment department, you will play a crucial role in facilitating the acquisition of commodities authorized by manufacturing using procurement systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess manufacturing requirements and verify customer requests.
  • Coordinate with support organizations to resolve manufacturing issues.
  • Work with contract administrators to develop and maintain procurement specifications and standards.
  • Participate in the analysis and research of new technology to provide state-of-the-art cost-effective products.
  • Gather manufacturing and product information to develop and recommend solutions to manufacturing requirements.
  • Investigate changes in manufacturing requirements and support emergent requests.
  • Analyze, procure, and oversee procurement processes for manufacturing tool services products and services.
  • Explore all possible options to resolve potential impacts to budget and manufacturing schedules.
  • Support the evaluation of outside supplier performance and verification of compliance with procedures and contract specifications.
  • Participate in the development and management of overhead and capital budgets for the acquisition and inventory of tool services products.
  • Review on-hand inventory and coordinate re-distribution.
  • Participate in the plans for the removal of obsolete inventory.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with Material Management and Inventory Control.
  • 2+ years' experience in Data Analytics.
  • 3+ years of experience working with any industry ERP (Enterprise Resources Planning) system or an equivalent such as SAP (System Applications & Products).
  • Must be familiar with portable hand tool basic operation and mechanism.
  • Must be legally able to work in Canada.
  • Individual must not pose a risk for safeguarding of controlled goods.
  • Must be eligible to handle US export-controlled data.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, or Business Management.
  • 2+ years of experience with Crib Master.
  • Microsoft Office Suite, proficient with Excel.
  • Experience preparing and presenting to a team or leadership.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in English.

Relocation

Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Additional Information

This requisition is for a locally hired position in Canada. The employer is Boeing Canada. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Benefits and pay are determined by Canada and are not on Boeing US-based payroll. This is not an expatriate assignment.
