Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our team. As a RPN with RhynoCare, you will provide high-quality nursing care in a variety of long term and acute care facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Nursing Care: Provide comprehensive nursing care to residents, adhering to established policies, physician orders, and resident plans of care.
  • Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team to ensure seamless delivery of care.
  • Admission and Discharge: Ensure timely and safe admission and discharge processes for residents.
  • Medication Management: Safely manage medications and narcotics on assigned shifts.
  • Care Planning: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet residents' physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs.
Requirements:
  • Registration: Active registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Infection Control: Ability to work with persons with infectious diseases.
  • Certifications: BLS Certificate, Valid First Aid & CPR, Proof of current immunizations (MMRV), Negative TB skin test within one year, Hepatitis B.
  • Criminal Record Check: Current Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexible shift times, including 8 or 12 hours in length.
  • Teamwork: Willingness to 'float' from unit to unit within a hospital.
  • Reliability: Reliable attendance once availability is given.
  • Policies: Compliance with RhynoCare's shift acceptance/cancellation policy.
Benefits and Compensation:

Estimated Salary: $40-$60 per hour
